Opened: Titus Andronicus was first presented in August 1955
Tour of "Titus Andronicus" began May 6 - June 22, 1957, and included Paris (the Theatre Sarah Bernhardt), Venice, Belgrade, Vienna, and Warsaw. After the tour's conclusion, the play reopened at the Stoll Theatre, London, July 1, 1957

Tynan: As Lavinia, Vivien Leigh received the news that she is about to be ravished on her husband's corpse with little more than the mild annoyance of one who would have preferred foam rubber.
